Attacked on Christmas Day

Last year on Christmas Day my family was attacked by a gang of youths. We're having an incredible amount of difficulty get anything substantial done about it. I've put it all in a blog over the the last couple months because it's either that or go nuts and start killing people. Can anybody help me before this happens?

Hi BloggingMonkey. That's really a bad experience your family have been through. I do agree that the systems are not so fair sometimes. But don't let your anger ("go nuts and start killing people") ruin your life by hurting other people out of frustrations. Don't be like them, they are bunch of irresponssible gang of youths. Think of your family if anything bad happens to you they will be the first who will get hurt. Keep on trying to asked help from different government or public services. And lots of prayer. Give my sympathy to your family

Thanks for your kind words. I fully don't intend on going nuts but as time p***es and we get less and less help and more and more h***le it feels like I'm going to snap. That's why I started the blog and that's why I'm so glad I found this website that I can talk to people on.

We've asked the government and they referred us to our local police force. Not alot of help when it's the local police force who are just as responsible as the gang of youths! My sister has written to everybody and it wasn't until she wrote to the Chief Constable of the county we live in that she got a response, and this took several months. The response she got was "Yes we believe you have been wronged by your local police force and we will look into the matter".

This doesn't help much and it just makes me more frustrated. I don't want to resort to the same kind of tactics that they use but it feels like I'm being pushed into a corner and I'll have no choice but to come out fighting, and this just adds to my anger!

I know I won't do it because it would upset 2 of the people I care about most, my niece and my nephew. I don't ever want them to think that violence is a viable solution to anything.

That's the spirit! be strong and wise for your family's sake. Don't lose hope....I'm happy to keep in touch and let you know if there is anything that might be able to help your family. Hope that more people will read your story and be able to inspire you to be more stronger for your family.

Hi there. I was wondering do you have any information about the gang of youth's, possibly where they live or something or the names. This can help you get a better case if they previously have commited the same crime. When you say "it's the local police force who are just as responsible as the gang of youths!"

why do you need those info? Just asking if you dont mind. It's kinda dangerous you know.
