Hello, i am a media student and i want to assess how media institutuions such as newspapers (broadsheet vs tabloid) help create a moral panic when highlighting gun crime. Is there a need for concern or is it that people buy the newspapers? Which ethnic groups are stigmatised??
Or is it that pther factors are important: rap music, location, class, life-chances...
The method will consist of using official statistics,interviews
