Tonight my girlfriend and I were out walking our dog in the park when a large stone flew past my head, close enough to brush my hair, we looked around just in time to see two hooded youth's running away laughing. just as a police car turned on to the street.
We told the wpc in the car what had happened, and she replied that unless the stone actually hit one of us, there was nothing she could do!?!?
I refuse to believe that this kind of behavior isn't actually against the law. can any one tell me, if this police officer is correct or not, surely it would be at least classed as anti social behavior, there are two witnesses myself and my girlfriend. please help us, one of us could have been seriously injured, these people should be prosecuted but the police seem to think it's not going to happen.
What can we do?
