When my husband was in his teens he got into the wrong crowd and was easily lead and has done some pretty bad things that now he really regrets.
He has got a criminal record and has done all his prison sentences when he was younger.

However when he finished his last prison sentence he was let out on probation and was doing really well and his probation officer was please with his progress. He only had 2 sessions left with the probation programme and then decided to go a live with his dad abroad therefore not returing to his last few probation appointments.
His mother said that while he was away he did recieve a lot of mail which was not opened and people knocking on her door looking for him etc...

My husband lived abroad with his dad for 5years and sorted his life out, he foud a really decent job and his character completely changed. He also studied and did part time courses as well as working full time.
He then married me and we have a little daughter.

We have returned home to the UK and my husband is living in my town which is miles away from his town and his old friends (who he dosnt contact anymore)
We have a small house and he works very hard in a insurance company.
His character has completely changed since 6yrs ago and he regrets all he did when he was younger but he has turned himself round for the best and sorted his life out.

He hasnt been seen or in trouble for 6yrs and i was wondering what will happen if he was to return to his home town to visit his family?
Would it be risky? He is not intouch with his old friends for 6yrs and they have all lost touch.

Does anyone know what happens in this situation?
If he was caught would he be sent back to jail after 6yrs of no problems etc...
I know what he had done might be considered as Breach of Probation but does that get squashed after 6yrs?
The last thing he wants is to be thrown back in jail after 6yrs of doing the right thing and if that happened then he would definately loose his job and mess his and our life up

Any advice or info would be hugely appreciated.
Many thanks for taking your time to read this and for your help. :)
