Hello all.
Always difficult when one introduces themselves to complete strangers but here goes.
I have always been interested in the law and for the last 10 years served as a magistrate in west london. I recently resigned as I decided to start a web site and not being allowed to make an income from the site whilst a magistrate I decided to resign.
I became a magistrate as I genuinely wanted to put something back into society. It was always difficult juggling work commitements with court but I felt the commitment worth it. I am probably opening myself up to people who disagree with court sentences but I have broad enough shoulders to deal with it.
Anyway - I have email my web site details to the administrator and hope he will respond with a favourable reply and I can then share it with all the people on this web site. It is meant to give information to all from the accused to the victims, as my experiance is that people who I know through work, friends and family who have been victims of crime had often contacted me wanting to know what sentence the person would receive. I hope the information I can provide will help people in moving on with their lives and putting these horrible experiances behnd them. I am also hoping that with the accused knowing the sentence he will receive will have the side effect of making them plead guilty earlier and thus not put people through the dreadful and unpleasant experiance that court can be.
I current live and work in France (great weather at the moment) and will return to the UK in the winter to look for work as this contract is coming to an end I fear.
Anyway - Hope this enough info and you have enjoyed the read.
regards
