hello all i have to write this as it seems you guys seem to have some good ideas.
our neighbour three doors down moved in about two years ago and since then our lives have been made hell by her and her children. we have been subjected to loud music till four or five in the morning. verbal abuse threats actual violence to one of our neighbours we live in a group of eight houses and of these five have been abused and or assaulted by these people. we have a meeting with the housing officer soon so hopefully we will be shot of them soon but as we see it not soon enough i have even taken to walking my dog in daylight. to avoid meeting these people at the minute they are partying on a monday night when us working people need our sleep. obviously these people haven't worked a day in their lives. we have had bicycles thrown in front of our cars etc will let you all know how it is progressing and hopefully the law won't take too long to rid us of these people( i am being really polite i have other words for them but decorum permits me from calling them names...

I feel so sorry for you thunderbird2719 and so with your other neightbours, just be extra careful and in any case call the police dont deal with them personally cause you'll never know what they can do to you. I wish you all the best and hope that you and your neighbours will be compensated soon.

Yes just make sure you keep a well documented diary of all the anti-social activity and get as many of the other well behaved and effected neighbours involved as possible. Hopefully with the right amount of pressure then something will be done! i.e. and eviction order placed.

Thank you for your post and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Concern_citizen well said and it's good to see you back on the forum.

hello just to let you know that we all had meeting (me my husband and neighbours) with the housing today and they were shocked when we told them what the problems were we all have to make statements next week and they going to take them to court and get what i can only describe as a house hasbo so that they cant come anywhere near us or cause us any more grief, but i am not completely convinced that that will do, but tonight will be quiet because she is harrassing some one else some where else lots of sleep tonight Rotate_anim

That is great news and i am sure we all here hope that your problems with these people goes away shortly, maybe after some serious letters from the local authority they will calm down and leave you alone.

Well done and we look forward to hearing from you again.

our illustrious housing officer decided to have a word with the lady in question ans spent an hour and a half listening to her bull. while we waited her good behavior lasted about 24 hours today she sent the police to our neighbours saying she had teenagers drinking and stuff in her house her kids are two and ten so this is her new approach ha ha ha we have now contacted our local mp as we have no faith in the housing agency

The main thing to do is to keep the neighbours united and then keep on at the housing people, remember to collect a diary and if they are drunk & disordely outside (disturbing the peace) then film them with a camera! But don't let them see you as they might get angry!

Best Wishes

Crimefighter is right make sure that you have solid evidence and be extra careful as well and continue to have a meeting and make a group plan within your neighbourhood to keep all of you safe. Thanks for the updates and goodluck to all of you

Well i have faced many cases like this one!!
It is Complex but can be solved.
Ok i will provide 2-4 solutions.
Try them you won't be disappointed.
#1
Requirments = A group of 3 to 4 people
Some equipments including
A handy cam
Mission = Some Spy work.
Target = Your neighbours
Operation = 1st of all plan an operation.How will you capture all their acts.
Talk to them like this.
"What you are doing is illegal and you should avoid your acts"
Record their words about Law and Order.
Make them do something wrong with you.
Provide them chances like you said they throw bicycle infront of you.Once they are in, you have a tape to show the world and a huge Proof of their irritating activities.

You can also SUUUUUUUU them is the court like "Eye for an Eye"

This is INSANE but Guess WHAT "It WORKS"(clap) (clap)

Blue Gem, nice idea except for the "Make them do something wrong" At worst this is entrapment at best it could just make the victim out to be getting what they deserve.
If you are going to go down the CCTV route you need to be recording actual events, not creating a Hollywood block buster!bobby

Yeah i Agree with Viking.
You can be harmed in this way and this is not the actual way to do this.
Using a camera is good but using mean thing won't work.
