Has anyone ever had an experience (as in actually seeing) an internet sexual predator? It is amazing how far these people would go to have sex with a teenager. To Catch A Predator on MSNBC is an amazing show, that shows exactly how far they go.

I haven't, but I did see the show on MSNBC. It's amazing how pathetic people like that are. It disgusts me.

I saw an internet sexual predator once actually. He was kind, and he admitted that he was. He wasn't like freaky or anything. Personally I think even though they are disgusting, they still are normal human beings underneath.

there are many kind of people in the society so make sure you know how to behave yourself and respect other's rights. Internet is the media that difficult to control so many people abuse it. Use it with care and report if you see anything that breaking the laws. ^^

I watch "how to catch a predator." I am amazed but not shocked. Parents need to make it their business to protect their child from the outside world. You have to keep an eye out when it comes to your children. So I blame everything on the parents.

You are right Parise it will always go back to the parents. Parents should make sure that their child is safe and protected because nobody else in this world will ever protect your child from any danger except yourself "PARENTS".

Oh so true. People don't realize that being a parent to your child can help them make it through this world. Being involved in their lives is the best thing you can do for them.

Parenthood is a very difficult responsibility. And it will all depend on the parents on how their children will behave in the society or how their children react or get influence by the society. So it takes a lot of things to become a parent. You have to be physically, emotionally and finnacially ready and stable before thinking of having a child.

I have never heard anything like this before and this is a quite different type of predetor.

Yes, you are right Sash. I can't believe that a human being will be able to behave like this, it is scary and very sad. I just hope that each and everyone will be more vigilant specially in protecting their children. By the way welcome back Sash(clap)

there still needs to be other mechanisms and controls in place..no matter how good you are there is always a way

...your kid goes to a friends house out of your sight and control, your kid knows what is right or wrong but the other kid takes the lead and goes to sites etc that they should not and draws your kid in

.....sometimes you can show thro the media the dangers and hope to educate your children to make the right decisions and steer away from dangers

...and of course be there for them but there is a stage where they need to take the reigns themselves and also follow the same direction...this is hard for Teenies...and for parents..

but the key is education and correct up bringing of which inmy opinion has greatly deterioated inthe last 20 -40 years...no respect, no values, new technology and fast moving life.....not easy...
