Can someone from Admin tell what purpose this board is suppossed to serve, as i believe i've made a small error in joining this community..?? Thank you
Can you explain to us more on this please?
was your queries not answered?
This board is more like a discussion on crimes, a public place for open discussions only, An online discussion group, where participants with common interests can exchange open messages. This is not a helping or advice forum. people can post their suggestions and opinion if they wanted.
Its more of a discussion type. In other words you can share your experience with other.

This board, whilst is a good idea for discussion. There are far too many rules and far too little info about crime.
People dont like rules, rules were made to be broken, the less freedom they have on a discussion board the less appealing it becomes. That is why boards have moderators to clean up the rubbish and lock threads that go off topic, this is trying to hard for an idealistic board.
And why are accussed statistics unavailable to me? They are open source information avaialable from other websites?
And if it is not open source information then they should not be on a public website.
Hope i dont get banned for freedom of speech? John Locke - legend

Well this forum is still on a developing stage and of course your opinions are very much welcome. Rules are made for members to abide not to break. If you start following rules in this forum it might do you better outside this forum. Freedom of Speech is very different to abusive and disrespectful comments to other people. You are free to write what your personal opinion but of course you have to be considerate on the language you use in the forum not just here but in other forum. It's not being idelaistic but the forum is just a friendly and informative forum and the objectives is to get different people to share their views but not to gain enemies. Because I dont think you need to be enemies because you have different views. Respect for other people's view and principles is what we are trying to achieve in this forum.

So well said CC...we are not here to judge one another or to have full on blow outs...discussing with respect will earn you respect...get nasty & you will get nasty back...so much easier to be hateful than nice so is better we make an effort & if we feel restricted then maybe another less respective forum is the answer...we have enough crap on the other side of the street...Is nice to come on here & discuss how crimes affect us or others & how we can make a positive change, in a respectful manner. Freedom of speech is not to be abused, rules are not there to be broken (sorry mate), imagine how the world would be without rules...jeeeze...it would be run by drug lords & the like...Im grateful that we dont have a president like sadam...but I guess thats because I am female & would not have counted as anything... We are very lucky we have rules here in the uk, altho there are those that do not think they serve a purpose...I would like to see how they would feel if someone broke a rule & it had a dramatic effect on their life...but if we just talking about this forum then it's a case of the door swings both ways ...you either respect the rules or shut the door behind you.
Im sure London can add some positive discussion to the forum, & enjoy his stay here :)

Compassion and support come to mind :)
People are hurting when they become the victims of crime, sometimes it's easier to talk to a stranger, albeit online, nothing wrong with that, and just maybe someone can feel a little better about themselves.
